Better than we expected !

This place is better than the pictures even represent! We had 5 people on the trip and this house was more than enough room for everyone as you'd imagine since it can hold up to 8. Very convenient spot in West End with just a short walk to all the West End attractions. Eco Divers is right next door as well and they were fantastic to dive with. Highly recommend !

Best Vacation Ever!!!

I traveled to Roatan with my wife and 4 other friends. The Sea Lodge was a perfect fit for us. Each couple had their own room and bathroom. We would wake up each morning and gather around the outdoor kitchen to eat breakfast and decide what we would do for the day. The beach is only a 5 min walk from the house and the street is lined with bars, shops and restaurants. On our first day we met Capt. Author. We used his small boat for everything from water taxi rides, snorkeling, fishing and He even brought us to Cayos Cochinos for the day. His prices were much cheaper than the larger charter boats and the service was more personal. When we would get home in the late afternoon we would pick up dinner from a restaurant or a street vendor and eat at the outdoor dinner table and enjoy the sunset. After dinner we would have a few drinks and lounge under the wrap around porch. Sometimes we would take a quick nap on one of the hammocks before we went out and enjoyed the West End night life. There are a bunch of bars to choose from. We would normally start at Sundowners for a few drinks then head to the Blue Marlin. We walked everywhere in West End. The only time we were in a vehicle was when we got picked up and dropped off at the airport by Marty. His wife has a catering business and for $25 a person she came to the house and cooked us Lobster and coconut shrimp and a bunch of different sides. It was by far the best meal I had on the Island. By the end of our trip we were already planning our next vacation back to Roatan. We will definitely be staying at the Sea Lodge again. We can't wait to come back.

Fabulous 30th Anniversary Trip!

This property is everything described and more! Upon arrival, we realized that the photos on the website had not been photo shopped at all--it was really nice! The view and grounds were just as beautiful in real life as they were in the photos. The house had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation for 5 adults--my husband and I and our 3 grown children. The layout of the house is unlike anywhere we have ever stayed--we loved the outdoor kitchen and living spaces and put both hammocks to good use throughout the week. It was truly a getaway location where we could spread out and have our own space when we wanted it but had many areas that we could be together and play cards, have happy hour, etc. We spent many breakfasts on the upper deck and watched sunsets and stargazed from these decks also! The caretaker, Elvis, was a great guy who took care of anything that we needed. 3 of our guys are scuba divers and we used Seagrape Plantation which was a 3 minute walk away and a great family-owned and run business. We were very pleased with their services and highly recommend them. We were met at the airport by Marty Wood who drove us by the grocery store on the way to the house, took us for an island tour that was outstanding and took us another day to the South Shore zipline which was incredible! Highly recommend Marty. We had Marty's wife cook dinner at the house one night and it was the most delicious meal we had ever eaten!! Chicken, lobster, fried plantains, rice & beads with lemon pie for dessert!!! Very affordable too! We were sad that we had waited until the last night for her to cook for us, we would definitely have her prepare more than one meal if we returned!! Great location as we were within minutes from Half Moon Bay and restaurants and gift shops. We used the water taxi to get to West Bay and that was very easy to do. We did not have a car and did not need one as everything was within walking distance or we used Marty to drive us. We thought the food was affordable, much less than at most resort locations. Many of the activities we did were not expensive either. Tenisha met us at the house and explained everything clearly, giving us numbers to call if any problems which we did not have any. She checked on us during our stay and was there promptly when we checked out. All in all, it was one of the best vacations we have ever had and we hope to return again someday!
